I was disappointed in this candle. I found it very stinky. In fact, even the box it came in was so stinky that I had to recycle it immediately rather than to risk the stench coming off the candle- essence and on my sister’s birthday gift which I had wanted to pack in the box. I had to put the candle outdoors because its foul essence stunk up the kitchen.
I’m not sure what it smells like but cranberry this isn’t. It has a cheap cranberry/floral smell. The scent was way too strong for me, and did not give the warm cranberry smell I’ve come to associate with Christmas and other warm wintery things. I didn’t even need to light it for the smell of the thing to overpower me.
Clearly this candle was not for me. Would it disguise odor? Most certainly. Other purposes? Perhaps a gift for your most hated enemy?
Sorry, but I found it too strong and stinky.

Funny story… I came home from work a few hours later then usual and upon stepping out of my vehicle I thought “What a lovely scent!”. As I walked round the garage and made my way to the front door, the smell become far more fragrant and that’s when I saw my delivery… sitting out in the baking hot sun (the one hot day in Rochester, go figure)! The contents of the candle had melted entirely and soaked into and through the cardboard packaging. The scent was overwhelming at this point (but I assume it wouldn’t be had it not been exposed to such heat). Even so, I opened the box to see if it could possibly be salvaged. Unfortunately, it was too much of a mess. I could tell however that the glass container it came in was of very solid quality, very heavy and expensive looking. The color of the wax was also a lovely cranberry red. I probably won’t attempt to order this candle in the future, but I will be tempted to purchase it in my local grocery store (if I see it).

Love this little candle and if the scent is to strong for you it comes with a wooden lid to go on top of the (real glass) holder.
With the lid on it…it’s very faint…but still a nice smell.
It smells as pretty as it looks…extremely attractive candle….Looks expensive (even though it’s not).

These are very pretty candles that look great anywhere in your home, with a very pleasant scent. My wife loves the fact that they’re soy, even though I’m not quite sure what the benefits of soy candles really are.
I don’t know if they really have that magic febreze odor destroyers or are just nice smelling soy candles.

I could smell this before I unpacked it from the shipping box. Great scent for the holidays.
