What is the best (strongest) FRESHNER air / plugin / candle that has been used?

We like the smell of clean cotton and linen. Infusions of clear air clean clothes is wonderful, but it is only a bouquet. I bought several candles of differences for compare and although they all smell great, they are not as strong as I want to be. I sent two of cotton "clean" large jar candles from Yankee Candle and I waiting for them to get here. I know these are supposed to be the best scented candle, but I would get a couple more suggestions for plugins that work well there are so many available now. Candles, plugins, heating oil scene, whatever! Thanks ahead!

I love Yankee Candle. I swear by them. The only thing I am not suggesting that Yankee fresheners are cars that are made of paper. The gels are good but not for long. I like the house Home sweet and Christmas cookies my all time favorite year. I stock up so you can have all year!

What is your opinion on this?

I’m planning on having an outdoor reception at a park and on the picnic tables in the pavilion, I’m going to have white table cloths with rose petals and candles. The question is, do you think frosted votives with white non smelling candles or white Yankee candle tealights would be best?

Since you’ll be outdoors and there really isn’t any other “decor” to worry about clashing with, I’d think you could use whatever you’d like….
I wouldn’t use candles that AREN’T in a votive or container of sorts though…if it’s windy the flames will continuously go out. Be careful when using scented candles outdoors as well…they may attract bugs/bees/mosquitos depending on the time of year.

I washed the pants and the stain seems too still be there. Can anyone help?

Turn your iron on low and put a piece of brown paper over the stain. If more wax is going to come off, it should when you apply a little bit of heat and then stick to the brown paper.

How can I get rid of cigarette smoke in my car?

I just bought a used 2008 car but it smells like cigarettes; the dealership said they “bombed” it but they definitely didn’t do a thing. I bought one of those Yankee Candle car jars (”Clean Cotton” which is their strongest smelling scent) and I left the windows down overnight, is there anything more that I can do?
The Febreze ideas sound like they would work but I have a boxer and she goes to day camp once a week, I’ve read that febreze can be really harmful to dogs. I can’t win!!

The smell will eventually go away after a while. Spray the fabrics with fabreeze, a lot of it. And shut it up with windows closed. Let it sit. After an hour or so let it set with the widows all open. You may have to do this a few times and letting it air out every day will help a lot. I used to have to get rid of the sour milk smell from accidentally leaving my daughters bottles in the car when she was a baby. But it should work for smoke too. The build up of heat in the car when parked makes smells more noticeable. It wouldn’t hurt to get a washcloth damp with soapy water and scrub out the seats, floorboards, etc… I use to detail used cars for Kobach used cars in Topeka and they used a special scented shampoo, but plain old dish soap works just fine. If you like the scented dish soap, go ahead. Citrus dish soap works very well.
